Riot LA Comedy Festival & Goldenvoice – ft. ALI WONG (Baby Cobra)

Every year Riot LA hosts a 3 day weekend event in Downtown LA. A stand up comedy featuring many famous comedic performers.

My Experience: ticket event January 21, 2017

If you haven’t already heard of Ali Wong, she’s a writer for the ABC’s comedy tv show Fresh off the Boat, she was part of the show American Housewife, and many more amazing talents. She is a freaking riot!!

I first heard about Ali Wong from her stand up comedy special on Netflix: Baby Cobra. It’s seriously one of the best stand up’s I have seen. I find her jokes very funny and relatable. When I saw she was doing a tour around the U.S. I jumped right on those tickets. Little did I realize that she was part of the LA Riot Comedy Festival event. I was also amazed on how all of her shows even from outside CA have SOLD OUT!

When Ali Wong filmed for Baby Cobra she was full pregnant and now that it’s been a year later her material is a lot about post birth, the struggle of being famous, marriage, and of course jokes of being Asian American woman. I love it and I absolutely love her!!!

If you’re a fan of comedy, this is one event you should definitely check out. Every year it’s hosted right in Downtown Los Angeles and tons and tons of stand-up comedians during this weekend event.

If you’re able to go to one of these events there is a ton of things to do: CARNIVAL RIDES, arcade games, a tent with performances from Vic Berger, Joanne The Scammer, Dublab DJs, Zapped Electric Trivia & more, booze garden, the NKLA pop-up adoption, photo booth, food trucks. (rides and games are free btw.)

Disclaimer: 21+ and over. Entry is free with any Riot LA ticket.
